Itero Group Sponsors Women in Tech Scholarships; Awards $4,500 to Three Recipients

HARRISBURG, Pa. - July 19, 2022 - PRLog -- Itero Group is proud to have once again sponsored The Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania's Women in Tech (WIT) Scholarships. These scholarships are awarded to encourage women to continue to excel in technology-related disciplines, such as computing, engineering, and life sciences.

"As a women-owned, technology-focused business, nothing makes me happier than supporting women in technology, especially the next generation of women in tech," said Terri Bailoni, Itero Group President. "We hope these WIT scholarships provide even more opportunities for women to further their education and pursue careers in technology-related fields."

The WIT Awards are part of the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania's broader Women in Technology initiative, which strives to create an inclusive and level playing field, regardless of gender, within the technology industry. New this year is a $2,000 scholarship awarded to a non-traditional age student, in addition to a $1,000 scholarship and a $1,500 scholarship awarded to traditional-age students. This year's scholarship recipients are:

• Catherine Vega, Harrisburg Area Community College
• Lauren Comly, Elizabethtown College
• Sarah Shaub, Penn State Harrisburg
