Miller Swim School Partners with Trident Aquatics

OWASSO, Okla. - July 25, 2022 - PRLog -- Miller Swim School, the leading swim school in Oklahoma, announced today a partnership with Trident Aquatics Club, located in Owasso. This partnership will allow Miller to expand the current year-round programs from their Tulsa and Jenks locations into this new market. Having previously offered a summer-specific program in Owasso, the Miller team is excited to take up permanent residence in the community.

Miller Swim School was established in 1960 by Larry and Rita Miller, retired former Tulsa Public School teachers and coaches. Starting at neighborhood pool when they realized a need for swim lessons in the community, their business quickly grew leading them to expand to numerous other pools in the area, teaching over 8,000 students in just two months. Their success and a lack of a year-round swim lesson program led to the opening of their first dedicated facility in 1995. The Millers have taught upwards of 500,000 swimmers over the past 60 years.

Located on the St. John Medical Campus, the Trident Aquatics Club is home to 2 pools: a high-tech, training/competition pool and a separate warm, shallow teaching pool. Having two pools ensures lessons and programs can take place in the type of water, temperature and depth appropriate for specific activities. Miller Swim School will operate out of the warm, shallow teaching pool. Trident competitive and recreational team, lap swimming and Masters programs will continue to operate under current leadership as they have since 2014.
