The Temporary Residence Transition (subclass 186) Employer Nomination programme is rumoured to be a means through which TSS holders may seek permanent residency.

Increase in Places

Australia's immigration policy is reset annually on July 1 to provide new chances for immigrants from outside. With the Australian Government's Budget process, the immigration project's size is determined each year.

Places have been added by the government in practically every category. For instance, the number of seats in subclass 189 will rise from 6,500 to almost 16,000, while the number of seats in subclass 491 (https://www.rapidmigration.com.au/skilled-work-regional-provisional-visa-subclass-491/) has increased from around 11,000 to nearly 25,000.
