California Department of Public Health Grants BrandGOV $110,000 to Extend Covid-19 Testing Services

VALLEJO, Calif. - Aug. 23, 2022 - PRLog -- The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has granted BrandGOV a $110,000 contract extension to support the company's mobile Covid 19 testing services.  The new funding will allow BrandGOV to continue its testing program through the end of this year. The service is being offered through the company's Empower Solano initiative and is part of an effort to bring more resources to the county's at-risk and underserved communities.  The funds were granted under the auspices of BrandGOV's fiscal sponsor, Match2Hire, a nonprofit specializing in employment assistance.

Get Immediate Help, If You Test Positive

BrandGOV is now working with CDPH to provide immediate access to healthcare, if a person tests positive at one of its testing sites.  The program allows participants to sign up for a free phone consultation with a healthcare provider and free Covid medical treatment, if they are eligible.

Currently, testing is being offered in Suisun City at the Joseph Nelson Community Center, 611 Village Drive, on Mondays, from 10am to 1pm; in Vallejo on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 4pm to 6pm at the Solano County Fairgrounds, 900 Fairgrounds Drive; and on Fridays from 11am to 1pm at 826 Solano Avenue.  Only 15-minute antigen tests are being given. All tests are free, and walk-ins are welcome.
