Livonia Church Turning Wine Into Water To Help Hydrate Detroit

LIVONIA, Mich. - Aug. 27, 2022 - PRLog -- LIVONIA, MI - St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, USA is holding a fundraising event to support Hydrate Detroit using the Cana Wedding Miracle as a wine tasting event with wine supplied by Detroit Vineyards.

The event is on Friday Evening, September 16, 2022 starting at 7PM. To help raise funds, St. Paul's is requesting a donation of $25 per person. Join us to learn more about Christ's first miracle…the miracle of turning water into wine at a wedding while only 16 years old.

And, while learning more about the wedding story, learn more about the story behind the wines from Detroit Vineyards while sampling some of their quality wines which are Michigan grown and Detroit made at their production facility in Eastern Market.

Why wine into water? Proceeds from this event support Hydrate Detroit. Hydrate Detroit is a 501 C3 water relief non-profit organization providing immediate emergency water deliveries and water restoration to families in the City of Detroit experiencing water shutoffs. Hydrate Detroit is comprised of a team of fellow Detroiters helping Detroit to maintain access for clean and affordable water. Hydrate Detroit is the most trusted grassroots organization in the City of Detroit that provides immediate help without any major funding sources, grants, or sponsorships. We believe water is an essential human right and for those with running water, we advocate sharing one resource to survive.
