SAN DIEGO - Aug. 30, 2022 - PRLog -- During his 20 plus years in education, Michael Grimes has taught most all grades and subjects. He helped build 3 progressive charter schools and founded the first self discovery based school in America. He's transformed hundreds of students' lives as he supports them to integrate their past, remember who they are, connect with their passions and purpose, and live fully alive.

Back when Michael was in his early 20's, he experienced a year of intense experiences that led to his first awakening. He went deep within, did a lot of personal work, had massive breakthroughs and perspective shifts, and started to actively create the life of his dreams. 15 years later, he was living on the beach, married to a wonderful woman, with two angels of daughters, and was CEO of the revolutionary charter school he started. He was on top of the world, living his best life.

Then, his dad was diagnosed with small cell cancer, he was forced to walk away from his school, and his marriage started to struggle. His wife moved out on the day of his dad's funeral.

In a years span, he went from the highest peak he ever stood, to the deepest valley he'd ever fallen. As he rebuilt, he wrote. He doubled down on his self work and spiritual studies while trying every healing modality he could find. He explored the depths of both himself and reality.

He's now emerged from the valley to resummit the mountain. "High on Being: A Trail Guide to Living Fully Alive" is his guide from the deep valley back to the summit. It will be released on September 17, 2022.

Michael's now back with his wife and their relationship is better than ever. He's once again living fully alive as he enjoys his personal journey and supports others along theirs.
