America's Boating Channel Stresses Collision Avoidance over Labor Day Weekend

RALEIGH, N.C. - Sept. 1, 2022 - PRLog -- America's Boating Channel™ is reminding recreational boaters to "Enjoy the ride – don't collide!" this Labor Day Weekend by presenting a new and different video each day of the holiday period from Friday September 2 through Monday September 5 starting at 9 AM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) daily.

The titles will be featured on AmericasBoatingChannel.com, America's Boating Channel on YouTube, and across online social media.

"BOAT OPERATOR RESPONSIBILITIES," kicking off the campaign on Friday morning, covers obligations of boat operators for ensuring safety from pre-departure to the conclusion of every voyage. Viewers will learn operational techniques and boater courtesy. Also featured are tips for avoiding negligence.

"COLLISION AVOIDANCE," featured on Saturday, covers the most basic and essential of Navigation Rules. Viewers will learn how to determine stand-on and give-way vessels in various circumstances. Also featured are tips for steering clear of potentially dangerous situations.

"DEFENSIVE BOATING," highlighted Sunday, covers the importance of keeping a safe distance from other boaters. Viewers will learn how experienced boaters can change their habits for a safer boating experience with so many new boaters on the water. Also featured are special tips for those who are new to boating.

"BEHAVIORAL CONSEQUENCES," wrapping up the campaign on Monday, covers the importance to recreational boat operators of having a working knowledge of the Navigation Rules. Viewers will learn about the dangers of not following the rules of the road. Also featured are tips for responsible boating.
