OAKTON, Va. - Sept. 2, 2022 - PRLog -- Mosaic Harmony, a community choir based in Northern Virginia, kicks off its 29th season, with a performance at the Seventeenth Annual Interfaith Unity Walk Concert on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. at The Islamic Center of Washington D.C., 2551 Massachusetts Avenue NW, Washington, D.C., 20008.  This marks the sixth consecutive season that Mosaic Harmony has opened their season with a performance at Unity Walk, organized by the Interfaith Conference of Metropolitan Washington.  The opening ceremony of this event will begin at Washington Hebrew Congregation (at the corner of Macomb St and Massachusetts Ave, NW) at 1:00pm. The closing ceremony will complete with a performance by Mosaic Harmony at the Islamic Center from 5:30-6pm. Tickets are $5 (students, seniors, and those of limited income)/$10 (general admission). All participants must register on the InterFaith Council of Washington's website.

For over 25 years, Mosaic Harmony serves as an interfaith community choir where people find love and acceptance regardless of color, religion, sexual orientation, or any other differences. We celebrate diversity and inclusiveness, sharing our message through the powerful medium of song, and inspiring our audiences to embrace ALL people.

Mosaic Harmony is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Currently, we subsist on donations from members and supporters, grants, as well as fundraising concerts. This support enables us to perform for 10-12 audiences each year. Of course, we'd love to be able to do more – to share our message with more and larger audiences, not just in the Washington metropolitan region, but around the country and around the world. We are limited only by our funding.

Our mission is to unify the world, one song at a time – join us on October 9, 2022 for our postponed spring concert at the George Washington Memorial Theater in Alexandria, Virginia.  For more information on Mosaic Harmony please visit www.mosaicharmony.org.

Mosaic Harmony is funded in part by the Arts Council of Fairfax County.
