Centum Financial Group Celebrates Its 20th AnniversaryMortgage broker network reflects on its past, enjoys recent employee recognition, looks ahead
By: Centum Financial Group Inc. The network is focused on growing its membership, providing the resources its member brokers require to experience growth of their own and continuing to do what it does best: provide value and stability for its members. It's planned a number of events to mark the occasion of its anniversary and highlight its plans for the future, including a birthday celebration at its new office. From its Piper system—a customizable solution combining a CRM, mortgage origination, marketing and more—to a variety of services and resources for network members, Centum prides itself on its ability to provide a comprehensive experience for mortgage agents who are part of its network. Its association with the Charlwood Pacific Group also offers a sense of constancy and dependability that benefits its members. "Centum has grown its volume more than sixfold in the past five years, and while we're excited about continued growth, our focus is really on nurturing and strengthening our relationships with our members," says Chris Turcotte, president of Centum Financial Group. "It's the factor that makes us stand out—we're there for our members in ways they can see, and always ready to support them. We're privileged to have these relationships and look forward to continuing to strengthen them." Centum's growth has also recently taken a more obviously concrete form. In early September, the network moved into its new national head office, located at 500 - 1285 West Pender Street, Vancouver, BC V6E 4B1. The new office is also home to the related Charlwood Pacific Group family of brands, including CENTURY 21 Canada & Asia Pacific, Real Property Management and UNIGLOBE Travel International. Caroline Rapson recognized as Woman of Influence 2022 In a fitting development for the network's 20th anniversary, Centum's very first employee, Caroline Rapson, was recently named as one of Canadian Mortgage Professional's Women of Influence 2022. The award recognizes women in the mortgage industry who have "demonstrated exceptional leadership, resilience and drive." Rapson has been with the Charlwood Pacific Group since 1996, and spent 17 years as Centum's franchise services manager. After serving three years as director of operations, she was promoted earlier this year to director of broker relations. "Caroline's recognition by CMP as a Woman of Influence is richly deserved," says Turcotte. "That it coincides with our 20th anniversary celebration makes it especially gratifying for all of us who have worked alongside her and been inspired by her leadership since the network's founding. We're very proud of Caroline and all she's accomplished." End
