The Campaign is Designed to Promote Breast Cancer Prevention Techniques Proven to reduce Breast Cancer by up to 80% according to UCSD

SAN DIEGO - Oct. 3, 2022 - PRLog -- The Helen Knoll Foundation has partnered with Our Lady of Peace Academy as well as St. Augustin High School to produce our very first "Pink Out for Prevention" event.

The first event took place during the St. Augustine's football game against Mater Dei Catholic High School on September 23rd, 2022 at Mesa College and featured "Spirit Packs" of pink high school spirit cheerleading supplies as well as informative materials on proven breast cancer prevention techniques alongside raffles and other giveaways.

Proceeds from the events will go towards testing materials for disadvantaged women as well as other breast cancer prevention funding.

According to David Knoll of the Helen Knoll Foundation, "We hope that these events can show people who are struggling with a breast cancer diagnosis that we are all in this together and there is support available."

David and The Helen Knoll Foundation hope to be able to replicate these events across San Diego County as well as into other venues, such as theme parks and other sporting events.
