Los Angeles Artist Ruben Rojas Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month With BMW x Ruben Rojas

LOS ANGELES - Oct. 13, 2022 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA: Street mural artist Ruben Rojas and BMW honor 2022 National Hispanic Heritage Month with an art collaboration — designed to spread Rojas' message of love and care for the community.

This year, Rojas transformed a black 2022 BMW iX into a sophisticated canvas, tastefully displaying his signature "love" script in technicolor. His addition of "amor" — Spanish for "love" — is also written in his distinct script and placed prominently on the front bumper and sides of the vehicle. This is his third Love collab with BMW; Rojas previously partnered with BMW on a matte grayscale version on a black X5 and a red M440 coupe.

Every instance of "love" and "amor" on the car is hand-placed vinyl of his original design. A 3D artwork, the Love BMW is meant to be viewed from all angles: every perspective a new appreciation for the car's design and the artwork's message.

And why BMW? It turns out, Rojas' affinity for the brand runs deep.

"I have always loved cars, and as a kid, I'll never forget our first BMW, a 1979 metallic blue manual transmission 320i," he recalls. "I remember my mom driving us all over town and feeling like I was in a race car. That's when I fell in love with BMW."

Fast forward to today, and his love for BMW intersects with his roots, his message of love… and his dreams. Several years ago, he shared with his now-wife that one of his dreams was to partner with BMW. He believes speaking aloud his dream manifested it into reality.
