Follow on Google News | Results of the 2022 National Frozen Yogurt Consumer Survey AnnouncedTo better understand the frozen yogurt market, the International Frozen Yogurt Association sponsored the National Frozen Yogurt Consumer Survey. The survey measured loyalty, brand attitudes, consumption, taste preferences, etc.
Survey Findings There were 1,318 responses received. The survey found that froyo shop visit frequency was greater than 2021. The most important froyo shop attribute was quality froyo; cleanliness slipped from #2 most important in 2021 to #3 in 2022. When asked about their favorite shop, Pinkberry ranked #1. "Our annual survey is the only one to measure consumer sentiment, behavior, and attitudes towards frozen yogurt. This year, the survey found evidence that consumers have become more interested in quality frozen yogurt and delivery/online ordering, while the self-serve format was less important than in previous years. Perhaps the pandemic had much to do with these attitudes," said Susan Linton, IFYA President. "Sponsoring these surveys and sharing the results is one way that we help frozen yogurt shop owners and other members of the frozen yogurt industry.
