ENGLEWOOD, Fla. - Oct. 22, 2022 - PRLog -- Micro-publisher First Run Books has dipped its small toe into the global book market at the Frankfurt Book Fair, appearing with its front-line title 20/20 (B Shawn Clark) through a shared booth with other small publishers sponsored by the Independent Book Publishers Association.

"The effects of climate change and global warming knows no borders set by humans," said Englewood, Florida-based Clark, author of the "Cli-Fi" novel, who recently survived a real life catastrophic hurricane foretold in 20/20.

"This book describes what the future - and present - holds for the people inhabiting the Florida peninsula, but the same story can be told for any province or nation in the world, be it rising sea levels, drought, wildfires, swarms of locusts and, yes, even viruses unleashed from wild places by human intervention into the natural world."

But the future need not be all doom and gloom, according to Clark.

In 20/20, Kirkus Reviews says that "Florida gets a much-needed reset via climate apocalypse in a bighearted instructional tale."

There are lessons to be learned here for everyone in the world, Clark believes.  Not all of them, it would seem, are that all is lost for humanity.
