Shoreline Dental Studio Provides Free Dentistry for Veterans in Partnership with Smiles for FREEdom

MISSION VIEJO, Calif. - Oct. 26, 2022 - PRLog -- Mission Viejo, CA : Shoreline Dental Studio in San Clemente and Mission Viejo is proud to once again support veterans with their oral health. This year marks the third year in a row that Shoreline Dental Studio has participated in Smiles for FREEdom, a national non-profit designed to connect veterans with free dental care from nearby dental professionals.

How Shoreline Dental Studio Helps Veterans

For 2022, Shoreline Dental Studio is offering free dental care to veterans on and around Veterans' Day, November 11. Shoreline Dental Studio offers its full range of services for Smiles for FREEdom, from preventative care to cosmetic dentistry to dental implants. When specialized treatment is needed, Shoreline Dental Studio partners with local dental specialists who offer endodontic work or oral surgery.

Since 2019, Shoreline Dental Studio has provided over $150,000 worth of dental care to veterans through Smiles for FREEdom. Patients ranged in age from  24 to 92, coming from as far away as San Diego and San Pedro.

A Cause That's Close to Home

Participating in this initiative is personal for Shoreline Dental Studio's founder, Dr. Kristen Ritzau. Partnering with Smiles for FREEdom is in honor of her late grandfather, USMC Master Sergeant, Eugene Fournier. 'Gene' was first stationed in the area in the 1950s, establishing Dr. Ritzau's family legacy in the community.

"I feel very blessed to call San Clemente and this community my home, "explains Dr. Rizau. "[Smiles for FREEdom] is a small and practical way I can give back to local heroes and continue a legacy of caring for people in this town that was started by my grandparents many years ago."
