His emotions have ebbed and flowed like the waves on the famous Southern California beach ever since the dates for the event were announced. AFM runs Nov. 1-6, 2022.

The Las Vegas-based filmmaker and screenwriter of the highly acclaimed screenplay Destination Unknown, knows that AFM is the place to be. Bennett is hoping to connect with producers, directors or funders interested in helping him develop his screenplay for theatrical or cable television release.

Destination Unknown centers on a traumatized 17-year-old volunteer in World War II who escapes the clutches of the Klan only to find an equally insidious foe within that threatens to thwart his segregated battalion's critical D-Day mission. It's MEN OF HONOR meets RED TAILS.

Destination Unknown was recently selected as a quarter finalist in the Big Apple Festival, a semifinalist at the Los Angeles International Screenplay Awards and a Second Round recipient at the Austin Film Festival. Bennett screenplay was selected out of thousands of entries in all three of the competitions.
