Covid and Cancer Creates New Business

Out of the mess that was the pandemic one small business owner took his experience of getting covid and then cancer and used it to change his business

SOUTHAMPTON, U.K. - Nov. 2, 2022 - PRLog -- Millions of buisnesses changed forever by the storm that blew accross the world in 2020 and 2021.

Some businesses gone for good. Some new businesses born. Many changed.

We heard the word "pivot" used so abundantly when it came to the new direction businesses morphed in.

For one small marketing business in Hampshire, England it was all about reinvention.

It's owner Tim, was in the "extremely vulnerable" category set by the UK Government and as such had to hide himself away from the world.

He and his wife found themselves juggling work and home schooling, as well as the other huge challenges of the time.

Tim knew his existing business needed to change after he got Covid and was hospitalised in November 2021. He needed to escape the time for money trap. The marketing retainer model many consultants use wasn't going to work anymore.

So he set about reinventing his business. He decided to work with partners instead of clients. Rather than take a fee for time spent, he would take a percentage for results.

This suited his clients well as they wouldn't pay if there were no sales.

As the pandemic was coming to an end Tim suffered an enormous blow and was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer. This meant he needed a large surgery to save his life.

The surgery date was set.

Tim decided to prove he didn't need to be present when making sales for his partners. This would reinforce the revenue share model and he set up a partners product launch the day of his surgery.

The day after his gruelling 14 hour surgery he woke up to find his "experiment" had worked. He had sold $50k worth of online courses for the partner while he was asleep being operated on.

Another client did almost $10k the same day.

This was all he needed to see to go "all in" on the revenue share model. He decided email was the focus to get the most leverage possible and he enjoyed this part the most.

That was when he rebranded his business to Persuasive Email. A completely revenue share email copywriting business.

Tim now chooses his partners and writes emails that can sell to one person or a million people at the click of the send button.

His business is certified with Klavio, Send in Blue, Mailerlite, Hubspot and Google. As well as cerfitications in Email Copy.

He is seeking new partners to work with who have online courses as well as a decent audience to work with.
