Great Thanksgiving Banquet- 2022- A day of radical hospitality

SANTA ROSA, Calif. - Nov. 18, 2022 - PRLog -- When we say the community coming together, we really do mean COMMUNITY! The Great Thanksgiving Banquet (GTB) is a partnership between Redwood Gospel Mission, dozens of churches, partner service agencies and volunteers for over the last 20 years. Every year thousands of people in need are blessed by this event. Not only are physical needs met through the meal, but a Gospel Message is provided to meet spiritual needs as well.

Thanksgiving for thousands is possible because of this event. These last few years have been a challenge for many people in our community, GTB is a beautiful way to see the community come together to serve our neighbors in need.

Guests attending will have a warm Thanksgiving meal served to them by volunteers wanting to make a difference in others' lives. In addition to a lovely prepared Thanksgiving dinner, the event will also offer homeless and underprivileged men, women and families flu shots, free winter coats, games for the children, community service information booths, foot washing, haircuts and other activities. We anticipate providing 800 turkeys and food boxes this year to families who register in advance.

We have an exciting event we would like to share with you: The Great Thanksgiving Banquet on Wednesday:          November 23^rd from 11am-6:30pm, At Sonoma County Fairgrounds, 1350 Bennett Valley Road, Santa Rosa.
