HILLSDALE, N.Y. - Nov. 29, 2022 - PRLog -- According to the estimate, about two hundred thousand policyholders are entitled to retire automatically. However, initially, the five thousand policyholders who have updated data in the National Social Information Register (CRIS) and in the Social Security system should be considered.

How will it work?

Retirement by age

In the case of Age Retirement, the SSA will send a notice to the insured person that he has all the necessary conditions one month before his birthday to inform him that he is already entitled to this benefit, that is, he has made 180 contributions (corresponding to 15 years) and aged 65 years (men) or 60 years (women).

When the citizen receives the notification that he is entitled to old-age retirement and, if he is interested in receiving the benefit, just confirm directly by calling 135.  In this case, the SSA sends another communication already with the information on the payment of the benefit.

For the next few months, the SSA promises to launch a contribution time simulator, in order to indicate to the insured if he is entitled to retirement or, if not, how much time is left for him to be entitled to the benefit.
