NEW YORK - Nov. 29, 2022 - PRLog -- African American Women In Cinema (AAWIC) is a non-profit 501 c3 organization at the forefront of the content economy that consistently supports the vibrant work of women filmmakers. This support has been consistent for the past twenty-four years. AAWIC provides a platform for showcasing both experienced and inexperienced filmmakers, directors, producers, screenwriters, and actors.  Its mission is to expand, explore, and create business opportunities for minority women filmmakers in the entertainment industry.

AAWIC's mission is to provide artistic women with a path to achieving their dreams by showcasing their talents, exposing them to peer interaction, and mentoring them by established professionals.  "African American Women In Cinema is excited to provide those who would like support talented storytellers/filmmakers an opportunity on #Giving Tuesday!" states Terra Renee, Founder & President of AAWIC.

#GivingTuesday is a campaign that creates global opportunities for minority female filmmakers and content creators. Donating cash or cryptocurrency to this campaign will provide the capital necessary to get more marginalized voices heard. All donations will have a huge impact and connect our African American Women Filmmakers to the people, resources, and professional development opportunities throughout the entertainment industry. You can donate cash or cryptocurrency  in amounts of $50, $100, or $1,000.

You are invited to Be the Bridge! There are three different types of bridge-builder donations to choose from to support these female filmmakers to strengthen their networks, hone their skills, and establish themselves in the industry.
