Participation of Alchemy Mining Group, Inc in the UNEP Global Mercury Partnership

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Dec. 22, 2022 - PRLog -- Alchemy Mining Group, Inc., ("AMGI"), (the "Company") is pleased to announce on December 05, 2022, the Company received official confirmation from the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) that the Company is welcomed as a partner for the Global Mercury Partnership in the Artisanal and small-scale gold mining (ASGM) and mercury waste management sectors.

The UNEP Global Mercury Partnership is a voluntary and collaborative relationship consisting of stakeholders from governments, intergovernmental organizations, NGOs, private sector, academia, and scientific community who are dedicated to reducing mercury pollution and protecting human health and the environment from the impacts of mercury, a deadly neurotoxin.

Artisanal small-scale gold ore processing is the Planet's largest man-caused source of deadly global mercury pollution. Documented in 2021 by Oxford University earth scientists to stay airborne up to one year precipitating back to Earth in the form of rain and snow  polluting our lands, contamination our waters, and poisoning the fish we consume, especially tuna where mercury bioaccumulates the most.  .
