Anger management is important as it can improve or ruin your life. If the emotion of anger is expressed appropriately, it can motivate you to make positive changes. Here are some ways to manage your anger and express it healthily.

BRACKNELL, U.K. - Dec. 9, 2022 - PRLog -- Well-managed and controlled anger can be a positive and useful emotion that encourages you to make positive changes in your life and surroundings. However, if you do not manage your anger and do not handle it appropriately, it may show destructive results leading to health issues, physical abuse and assault, family clashes, self-harm, and poor public image.

Anger induces the body's flight or fight response. Other emotions that prompt this response include excitement, fear, and anxiety. The adrenal glands release cortisol and adrenaline hormones when a person is stressed.

The continuous flow of stress chemicals and related metabolic changes that results because of uncontrolled and unmanaged anger can gradually cause harm to your body systems.

Some short-term and long-term health problems associated with unmanaged anger are as follows-
  • Insomnia
  • Stroke
  • Heart attack
  • Headache
  • Increased anxiety
  • High blood pressure
  • Digestive problems
  • Depression
