Jon Robert Quinn Announces Movie Sequel to High Rise: Path to Nowhere

EL DORADO HILLS, Calif. - Dec. 29, 2022 - PRLog -- The year 2022 marked a first for the Jon Robert Quinn brand. After 20+ years as a music producer and recording artist, he added filmmaker to his resume with the release of 'High Rise: Path to Nowhere'. The film starring Charles D. Clark (Empire, House of Cards) and Troy Fromin (Saved by the Bell) tells the story of two hotshot detectives taking on the mob. We've all seen mafia movies before with two families working for and against each other. I don't want to ruin the ending for you, but things don't go as planned for anybody in the film leaving pretty much everything open-ended leading into a second film.

In February, JRQ's team gets back to work with much of the same cast to continue the story of the Bollieri and Vernicci families with new twists and turns, and plenty of surprises. 'High Rise: Path to Nowhere' is currently streaming on IMDB. What's actually surprising about the move was the method of which it was filmed. Using only an iPhone (purposely) with no outside mics or lighting, it quite astonishing how well the filmed turned out. When Apple announced iPhone 13 Pro with Cinematic mode and the commercials stated it was good enough to film a movie, Jon Robert Quinn put the claims to the test. When filming starts for 'High Rise 2' this February, it will also be filmed using an iPhone.
