The Children's Home Network Welcomes Taylor Cheeseman as New Executive Vice President

TAMPA, Fla. - Dec. 30, 2022 - PRLog -- The Children's Home Network is excited to announce that Taylor Cheeseman has joined the organization as its new Executive Vice President. In this role, Taylor will lead CHN's programs, services, and support operations.

Taylor comes to the Children's Home Network with broad experience in child welfare. Most recently, Taylor worked as a strategic consultant advising clients on best practices in the integration of child welfare, behavioral health, and other social service programs. Prior to his work as a consultant, Taylor held multiple executive leadership positions with the Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services, Mississippi's state child welfare agency, including a ten-month appointment as the cabinet-level agency Commissioner.

Throughout his time with MDCPS, Taylor managed statewide child welfare operations, led numerous strategic planning initiatives, oversaw the development of statewide child welfare policy, and coordinated collaboration across the child welfare system of care. Taylor is also an attorney and, in addition to his work as a consultant and with MDCPS, he previously has worked in Mississippi dependency courts and for the Supreme Court of Mississippi.

The Children's Home Network is Tampa's oldest, and continuously running non-profit that is improving lives and changing life stories for 130 years. At its residential campus on Memorial Highway, the Children's Home Network provides a safe, healing, and nurturing environment for boys and girls who have experienced trauma through abuse, neglect, and abandonment. Additionally, CHN provides essential programs and services throughout eight counties in Florida for families who need it most including Kinship, Fostering Families, and Caregiver Support Services, to name a few.
