New Study Uncovers Best Practices In Employee Wellness

BOSTON - Jan. 4, 2023 - PRLog -- Research shows that companies can help employees achieve better health and generate bottom-line returns by taking a whole-person approach to employee health with programs that address physical, mental and financial wellbeing.

Yet, research shows that most US employers with over 10 employees do not invest in whole-person wellness programs. This means that most employers are wasting money on wellness programs that don't deliver healthier employees or bottom-line business returns.

A new study by Returns On Wellbeing Institute (ROWI) and sponsored by the Wellness Council of America (WELCOA, https://www.welcoa.org) found that transforming ineffective wellness programs centers on evidence-based best practices that help workforces achieve better whole-person health and help companies achieve strategic business returns.

The study interviewed and analyzed 18 award-winning wellness programs, and found six best practices employers can use to reframe wellness offerings. Steven Van Yoder and Jim Purcell, co-founders of Returns On Wellbeing Institute, are the authors of the report.

The study is available in a free, downloadable Workplace Wellness: Best Practices Report 2022, https://returnsonwellbeing.com/best-practices-study-2022/ report and shows how companies can design wellness programs that boost the bottom line.
