Moab Adventure Center Garners "Best of State" and "Business of the Year" Awards

MOAB, Utah - Jan. 5, 2023 - PRLog -- Annually, each and every year since 2004, Moab Adventure Center in Moab, Utah, has been recognized by the State of Utah for its outstanding contributions to Utah's tourism industry.

The tradition continued in 2022 as Moab Adventure Center once again is the recipient of Utah's Best of State for unsurpassed service and achievement in both the Adventure Travel and River Outfitters industries. The Best of State (http://bestofstate.org/index.html) award is Utah's premier recognition and awards program created to recognize outstanding individuals, organizations and businesses in Utah.

Recognizing such consistent excellence, The Moab Chamber of Commerce also honored Moab Adventure Center as the town's 2022 Business of the Year (https://moabsunnews.com/2022/11/03/chamber-of-commerce-2022-awards/) praising the company as "a great example of community involvement, leadership, problem solving, and supporting their employees in various ways." The award was presented at the Chamber's annual Black & White Banquet at Red Cliffs Lodge on Oct. 29, 2022.

Moab Adventure Center's "commitment and love for our community is evident in numerous ways," wrote Chamber officials. These ways include investing in its employees through education and professional development and prioritizing employee housing provisions; contributions to activities and programs at Grand County High School and donating time to organized trail clean-up days during the off season. Staff serve on the state Utah Office of Tourism board, the Utah Tourism Industry Association board, the local EMS board, Canyonlands Regional Airport Board, the Moab Area Travel Council, the Moab Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Grand County Economic Development Advisory Board.
