PPGJ Press and Bookstore Founder Receives Entreprenista 100 Award for 2022

ST. PAUL, Minn. - Feb. 2, 2023 - PRLog -- Dr. Artika Tyner has been chosen as an Entreprenista 100 Awards recipient in the category of Biggest Impact. The award recognizes women founders and trailblazers who are changing the world. Tyner's PPGJ Press and Bookstore are among the 100 women-led companies to be recognized. Award winners will be honored at a celebratory luncheon on March 4, 2023, in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

The Entreprenista 100 Awards are presented by Chase Ink and recognizes women business owners in 11 different categories. The journey for an entrepreneur isn't easy. The prestigious award celebrates the tenacity and perseverance demonstrated by the winners, and their determination to make a positive contribution to society through their legacy.

The PPGJ Press and Bookstore features children's books that reflect the BIPOC community. Our books demonstrate the many opportunities available to children through engaging stories and meaningful illustrations. Books inspire curiosity and encourage readers to explore and to follow their passion. Through the PPGJ Bookstore, youth can explore careers in a variety of professions that includes STEM.

Reading is an essential skill that many children are lacking. Those that have not learned to read by fourth grade are at increased risk of dropping out of school. Through her efforts, Tyner is helping to increase literacy levels, diversity in books, cultural awareness, and youth leadership development. The books in the PPGJ Bookstore show children that they're never too young to make a difference.
