Leading the Way in Media Sustainability: The Sustainability Experts Series Kicks Off in February

BARCELONA, Spain - Jan. 31, 2023 - PRLog -- This independent hub of information and learning events will bring together top industry professionals to discuss the personal and professional challenges of a cleaner planet.

The first session, taking place on February 14, 2023, will feature a fireside chat with the European Broadcasting Union's Hemini Mehta, PhD and RTÉ's Eileen Duggan to explore the link between personal and professional commitments to sustainability.

As companies strive to get on a more sustainable path, the Sustainability Experts Series aims to provide valuable insights and takeaways. On 14th March, the series will cover
the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals, cementing good practices in sustainability, and the impact of the digital world on the environment.

Author Gerry McGovern will join the series on April 11, 2023 to discuss his book "World Wide Waste" and the costs of digital waste on the environment.

Each event consists of a webinar that is followed by an interactive conversation where attendees and interact with the speakers and other invited experts. Throughout the day, attendees can network, exchange ideas, and come away with actionable takeaways.

The Sustainability Experts Series has been running informally since mid-2021 on Media Meet & Greet Connect 365. In January 2023 it shifted into a series of monthly events, driven by a new executive committee. Events take place on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. The series was initiated by Janet Greco, Founder & Principal at Broadcast Projects and executive producer of the Media Meet & Greet Connect 365 event series. Driving the content program is Ben Schwarz, Principal at CToIC Consulting, who also chairs the executive committee and acts as moderator.
