CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Feb. 1, 2023 - PRLog -- Hurricane Ian hit more than four months ago, but many Southwest Florida residents are still dealing with the aftermath trying to put their homes, their businesses and their lives back together. To help the community in their recovery efforts, Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida (SWFL), is sponsoring a Career Fair and Resource Day at the New Hope Church located at 431 Nicholas Parkway E., Cape Coral on Saturday, February 4th from 10am – 1pm.

Sixteen companies will be represented and will be doing on-site interviews for immediate hire positions, vocational schools offering short-term career training into high-demand industries, and several non-profits will be there to provide resources to attendees.

"People here in Southwest Florida are still struggling to recover from Hurricane Ian," states Debra Donatto, Goodwill Director of Communications and Marketing. "Our team is still seeing a daily need from individuals trying to find work and get needed resources. This event will help bring a lot of different agencies all under one roof to make it easier for them to get the assistance they need."
