By: Marietta Theatre In The Square The Mountaintop begins with Martin Luther King Jr. returning to the Lorraine Motel after his sermon, I've been to the Mountain Top. There's a storm brewing at the Lorraine Motel. And the electricity in room 306 may just overpower the lightning outside, as a weary hero receives a smoke and a reality check from a mysterious housekeeper; Marietta's Theatre in the Square features first class theater, cutting-edge comedy, music concerts by popular artists and so much more! Marietta's New Theatre in the Square is a melting pot of cultural experiences telling stories of Ethnic Americans in our intimate proscenium black box theatre. We are a community theatre that takes pride in celebrating our diverse rich community. We are your home away from home, the place where all are welcomed, and differences are celebrated. We strive to be our best in the community and on the stage. Whether it be your first date, an anniversary, a holiday, a school trip, or just your next day off, please consider checking out our next production. Marietta's Theatre in the Square is one of the only privately Black owned and operated theaters in the Southeast Region. www.theatreinthesquare.net End
