Purple Lotus Counseling Launches Telehealth Phone Service In Fox Valley & Appleton, WI

APPLETON, Wis. - Feb. 8, 2023 - PRLog -- Purple Lotus Counseling, LLC recently launched a new telehealth phone service to meet the growing demands of Fox Valley and Appleton area in Wisconsin. It strives to work with the underserved populations in the Fox Valley, specifically focusing on POC and LGBTQ populations. Despite the challenges of the year, they have also hired another clinician, in addition to the new telehealth service, to better meet the mental health needs of the community.

As a clinic that specializes in trauma treatment, Purple Lotus Counseling, LLC has dedicated resources to expand the clinical knowledge in order to help clients in the best way possible. Owner Katie Huskey, LCSW is now a level 1 trained IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapist. IFS is an evidence-based treatment for PTSD and other co-occurring disorders such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders that has proven to be effective in helping clients overcome various forms of trauma. IFS is a treatment that works from the inside out. It focuses on helping the client to connect with his or her inner resources, meet internal needs and develop new ways of coping with life's challenges.

In addition to their clinical services, Purple Lotus Counseling, LLC is also proud to offer a twice monthly Bi-racial Women's Support group in conjunction with People of Progression in Appleton, WI. This group provides a safe space for bi-racial, women identified folks to come together and build a supportive community.
