NEW YORK - Feb. 16, 2023 - PRLog -- The Editorial Freelancers Association will once again be sponsoring the Publishers Weekly BookLife Indie Author Forum, February 25, 2023. "The Indie Author Forum is a wonderful opportunity for writers, and we are thrilled to be sponsoring this event for the second year," says Kristen Tate, EFA Events chairperson. "Our members serve indie authors in numbers of ways—editing, proofreading, book design—and many are writers or authors themselves."

This virtual event takes place 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. EST with presentations by authors, book designers, publishers, and other industry professionals. Conference attendees will have access to panel discussions, genre-specific breakout sessions, and pitch and networking opportunities. Sessions will cover a wide range of topics of interest to indie authors, including building readership, marketing and distribution strategies, copyright law, and book design. Video archives of the conference available to all registrants.

Founded in 1970, the Editorial Freelancers Association is a national nonprofit professional organization with approximately 3,000 members, including writers, editors, copy editors, proofreaders, indexers, translators and others who work in publishing, communications, and related fields.
