CALGARY, Alberta - Feb. 13, 2023 - PRLog -- Sip Social Co., the largest mobile bar cart rental company in the U.S. and Canada, today announced that in 2022 they were able to raise $18, 000 for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Canada (BBBSC), a 106-year-old organization enabling life-changing mentoring relationships to ignite the power and potential of young people. Community and youth enrichment is a pillar of Sip Social Co.'s efforts to be part of something greater and make real change in their community. The company is looking to raise even more funds earmarked for donation in 2023.

Research shows that young people are most likely to thrive when they are enmeshed and surrounded by a support system of caring adults. Unfortunately, according to BBBS, only one in five young people have access to a web of supportive adult relationships. To address this gap, BBBSC "recruits and trains adult volunteers to build and maintain supportive relationships with children." Through these types of mentorships, young people are given a safe space and a foundation on which to succeed and flourish. Chosen mentors demonstrate care while sharing their own power with Mentees - encouraging individualized potential.

Sip Social Co. is mindful of their community and the on-going need for youth mentorship and positive role models. The company sees mentoring as an essential service that impacts brain development in youth and leads to better educational and health outcomes. In 2021, Sip Social Co. was able to raise and donate over $11,000 for the organization. Having reached over $18,000 in 2022, the company is expecting to make an even larger donation through their efforts in 2023.

"Sip Social Co is committed to creating a brighter future for all, and to breaking down barriers to equity and representation barriers," said Jason Byrne, Marketing Director for Sip. "Our new fundraising and awareness campaign with BBBSC, along with their mission to empower young people through mentorship, has resonated so profoundly with our customers and colleagues."

Sip Social Co. is proud of their rapid growth since their founding. Their innovative mobile bar cart technology has found incredible success in the private event space as well as brands who want to raise their product-awareness at larger, more corporate type happenings. Though Sip Social Co. gives back through other various community contributions, the company always ensures that donations to BBBSC are priority. Sip Social Co. also looks forward to ensuring that the donations grow - reflect their appreciation - as the company, itself, expands.

"This donation from Sip Social Co. is the latest in a long history of support, reminding us that mentoring is a cause worth investing in. It sends a signal to the community about what mentoring means and we appreciate each and every donated dollar," said Barbara Wohlfeiler, National Coordinator, Fund Development & Marketing for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada.
