Assistant Commissioner for Big EAST Conference Joins Faculty Employer Advisory Committee

HAWKINS, Texas - Feb. 16, 2023 - PRLog -- Hawkins, TX – Tania Kennedy, Assistant Commissioner of Sports Administration and Championships has joined the Jarvis Christian University Faculty Employer Advisory Committee. The Faculty Employer Advisory Committee was established by to create partnerships between Jarvis Christian University and employers, representing a diverse array of business, industries and nonprofit sectors of the workforce, with the goal of preparing JCU students for the global workforce by advising faculty on industry standards and critical skill sets required in the workplace. As Assistant Commissioner, Kennedy oversees various Olympic sports, including Cross Country, Volleyball, Outdoor Track and Field, Indoor Track and Field, and Women's Lacrosse. She also manages championship awards, student-athlete gifts, locker room gear, and merchandise for 22 BIG EAST Championships. Kennedy also assists with conference SAAC initiatives and programming geared around mental health. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor for the Northwestern University Masters in Sports Administration program.
