Productivix democratizes access to professional barcode scanning

BOURGOIN-JALLIEU, France - Feb. 20, 2023 - PRLog -- Now any Android can receive a professional barcode or QR Code fast reading application. The adaptation of the programs of Productivix to the "imagers" (= 2D lasers) of the market is fast (in less than a week) and can be done by the customer himself, without moving or depriving himself of his terminal, from a small program to install.

Previously a mobile application that scans was developed for one or two brands because the development was long and expensive and depended on specialized developers.

Productivix Sarl is able to deliver custom or standard applications on almost any type of terminal and thus open the list of accessible brands. This list, already well filled, is available at bottom.

Productivix has invested both on camera drivers and on specialized imagers mounted on top of ruggedized professional smartphones so that its traceability applications are powerful and fast.

The improvements are interesting for its customers:

First, in terms of speed: the reading time per camera has been halved on mid-range camera, the reading time compared to the scanner goes from a factor of 10 to 5.

And the better the camera, the better the ratio: compared to an imager, reading per camera is made more attractive.

Nevertheless, the imager remains interesting for its ability to read extremely small codes (4 to 8 mm) or more distant ones, the speed can also be improved by the possibility of continuous reading: 10 codes in 2 seconds to give an idea.

Then Productivix brought functional improvements impossible for it before, both on camera and on imager.

Indeed, these improvements are important for the food, automotive, aeronautical and pharmaceutical industries.

If we can give three technical examples of these improvements :

- the number of codes decrypted in 1 reading has increased from 1 to 5 or even 10 .

- the read values are instantly organized according to their symbology (QR code, Datamatrix, Ean13, 39, I25, etc.) or their data format in the corresponding 'form' fields of the application in order to ensure, for example, the traceability of article codes with serial numbers, DLUO, the reading of GALIA labels, all in one reading,

- the camera driver can, at the extrem estimate if the empty zone between them is sufficient ("quiet zone").

These technologies industrialized by the code mastered 100% by the company Productivix allow it to present itself as an expert and to consider developments of very complex and powerful mobile applications.
