Atlanta Falcons Player, Joshua Ali, Created a Children's Book to Teach Them The Importance of Outdoor Activities

ATLANTA - Feb. 21, 2023 - PRLog -- Atlanta Falcons wide receiver, Joshua Ali, published his first children's book entitled "Fishing Is Fun For Everyone," in April of 2022 and is set to add three new books to his repertoire entitled "Football is Fun for Everyone," "Bowling is a Blast!", and "The Case of the Missing Carrot."

Josh began his career as a children's author during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, as like so many other people across the globe, Joshua was unable to travel to and spend time with his family in Florida. To stay connected with his family who lived on the other side of the country, he began video chatting with them. During those calls he would often speak of his memories as a child and his love for the outdoors in an attempt to help his younger brother and cousins break away from the television sets and video games. After realizing that this issue was much bigger than his family, he decided to create a platform that would allow him to utilize his platform to help spread his message to youth across the country that were addicted to their handheld devices and computers. This new platform, "Young Joshua's Big Adventure," is a collection of books that would embrace trying out new outdoor adventures.

The first book in his series, "Fishing Fun for Everyone," shares his fun fishing escapades with his father and friends. Throughout the book he shares memories of each of his fishing trips, along with how fun and adventurous each of these trips were.

Prior to joining the Atlanta Falcons this past season, Joshua was in a bad car accident last year during his senior year at the University of Kentucky and ended up having to take time off from playing football and reflect on his life's overall purpose. Even though he began writing this book during the COVID-19 pandemic, he finished it during what he considered to be a very critical time in his life.

"I am so humbled and blessed to have been given a second chance to pursue a career in football after what most considered to be a career-ending injury," says author and professional athlete Joshua Ali. "The Atlanta Falcons organization as a whole stood with me from the beginning. From mini-camp to being able to be added to the team roster without playing one pre-season game just showed me more than ever the full potential they saw and continue to see in me as an athlete. My teammates and coaches helped me to become a stronger player both on and off the field. That energy transcended into me wanting to create more books to show this current and next generation of youth the overall importance of believing in themselves and never giving up, no matter how large or small their end goal may be."
