![]() Autism Cares Foundation® Announces Annual "Race 4 Resources" 5K Run/Walk/Resources ExpoEvent Benefits Programs For Autism and Other Intellectual Disabilities
By: Autism Cares Foundation® The redesigned 5K race course eliminates the challenging hills through Tyler State Park, with the start and finish line at the college. Event gates will open at 8am with a Resources Expo providing attendees with many community resources geared to assisting those with autism and other intellectual disabilities. A 9:30am race start will kick off the 5K Race and 1 Mile Family Fun Walk Scavenger Hunt. Post race attendees will be treated to an amazing selection of food generously donated by sponsors Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill and Carrabbas's Italian Grill. "We are thrilled to host our Run/Walk fundraising event this year and bring together the Greater Philadelphia- Registration for the Race 4 Resources Run/Walk is open to everyone. About Autism Cares Foundation Autism Cares Foundation (ACF) was founded in 2007 by Linda and Frank Kuepper, parents of a child with autism. Their goal was to establish an organization focused on improving life experiences of individuals with intellectual disabilities and for them to have age-appropriate activities to enjoy in a safe and secure environment. Today, Autism Cares Foundation offers nearly 200 activities each year, spanning all age groups, and provides highly sought-after essential services to adults having autism and other IDDs through its Adult Services Division, helping them navigate their daily challenges.
