Follow on Google News | Seven Black Female Authors Celebrate Women's History Month with the Launch of their New AnthologyThe Book Bruised but Not Broken will Push Women from Pain to Purpose
By: Henton Jones Media LLC Each author brings a unique perspective to the anthology with stories that range from overcoming health setbacks like lupus, the loss of loved ones to defeating homelessness, healing from childhood trauma, and rejection. Bruised But Not Broken is laden with wisdom and grit. Each chapter reveals a woman who refused to backdown or give-up in the face of overwhelming hardship. Anthologist, Chris Scott, gathered this incredible group of women with the goal of liberating others who are going through some of life's toughest challenges. Scott said, "When we began this journey, I reminded each author that their story is the solution to someone's pain. It gave them the courage to write from a place of truth, truth that heals." This is the fifth anthology led and supported by Scott who has served as the anthologist for Treasures In My Heart (2019), Beyond the Smile (2020), And Still Champion (2021), and I am the Apple of His Eyes (2021). Scott said, "These women are some of the most courageous people that I know. They each carry a light that is captivating and liberating. I want others to know just how amazing they are." Bruised But Not Broken is edited by Dawn James and Published by Publish & Promote. The book is set for release on Amazon and all digital platforms on March 5th, 2023. The Bruised but Not Broken book launch event is free and open to the public. Follow the authors of Bruised but Not Broken @BruisedButNotBrokenBook on Facebook. End
