Battle Love and Trauma With 'Native Hearts'

PHOENIX - March 3, 2023 - PRLog -- 'Native Hearts' follows Daniel Finley, a mentally-ill Native American of mixed race who endures various challenges on his journey of self-discovery.

'Native Hearts' is the first full-length feature film from writer-director Al Mertens. The multilayered drama explores the struggle to reconcile love versus inner trauma and also tells the stories of a female inmate, a car thief, and a prostitute.

The film stars Ben Richardson known for 'A Little Dead' (2022) and 'The Fishermen' (2019). Alongside Delno Ebie starring in 'Death Alley' (2021) and 'The Contested Plains' (2022) and Jamie Loy known for 'Endangered in the Ozarks' (2023) and 'The Cherokee Word for Water' (2013).

'Native Hearts' is now available in North America on VOD from Amazon, YouTube Movies, Microsoft Movies, Google Play, and Vudu.
