Congratulations, NAHC champions.

PRLog -- Homeschooled teens across the country have put their college knowledge to the test. They have worked their way through the inaugural National Academic Homeschool Competition (NAHC) over the course of the school year. The contest was entirely virtual and consisted of a practice test, followed by three levels of competition. Every participant came away better prepared for college and career success. Those who advanced through the first two levels of competition recently competed in the championship round in April. The NAHC is a partnership between The Old Schoolhouse®
and College Options Foundation with sponsorship by CTCMath and Encourage.
According to Terry Wilfong of College Options Foundation, "Students who participate in the NAHC can significantly improve SAT/ACT scores, which may result in scholarship opportunities. They have access to a complete guide to getting into and paying for college. Ultimately, participation in the NAHC could save families tens of thousands of dollars in college costs."
"We are pleased to announce the champion of each division. What an accomplishment!"
said Gena Suarez of The Old Schoolhouse®
. Top students in each of three age divisions received valuable awards and prizes and are as follows:
- Division I: Fuller from Maryland
- Division II: Ebert from Texas
- Division III: Dedon from Louisiana
The overall championship results may be found on the
competition leaderboard. "Congratulations to all of the 2022–2023 NAHC champions and finalists!" added CTCMath's Pat Murray. "CTCMath was pleased to sponsor this event and further promote excellence in home education."
"The championship round may be over, but the NAHC will be back next fall," said Suarez. "Students can start studying now for the 2023–2024 National Academic Homeschool Competition. Visit
NAHCRegistration.com for FAQs and to preregister for next school year's event."
