International Women's Day 2023: allbranded empowers women

LONDON - March 15, 2023 - PRLog -- International Women's Day was celebrated on March 8 this year.  A day that gives us all the opportunity to reflect on the place of women in our society, as well as their place in the workforce. The promotional product manufacturer - allbranded used the occasion to raise awareness of women's rights and to celebrate their achievements throughout history.

allbranded Ltd. is committed to female empowerment. The team decided to donate part of its profits to a women's rights organisation. The company ran a Women's Week campaign (March 6 to March 12, 2023) and planned on donating £3 for each order placed online at allbranded.co.uk.

On March 13, allbranded UK donated a total of £300 pounds to the organisation ROSA (http://rosauk.org); this being the second year of running such a campaign. Combined with the other branches, allbranded collected and donated €1600 to charitable organisations in Germany, France, USA and naturally the United Kingdom.

The ROSA association is a registered charity that aims to gather funds and support other charities in need. More specifically, they support women that have been abused or raped, are refugees, are very-low income etc. What's even more, ROSA only supports those organisations led or governed by women, meaning the Board is mainly composed of women or the majority of employees are women and girls. They support a society where women and girls are free, safe and equal.

International Women's Day is an event celebrated annually in many countries around the world, not just the UK. Its aim is to combat inequality, discrimination and unnecessary prejudices. Although the gap between genders is slowly shrinking, many women continue to face challenges such as wage inequality, discrimination, sexual harassment and violence.

Many companies and organisations ought to use this occasion to raise awareness on the above-mentioned issues and to support the women near them and their rights.

World Women's Day 2023 has highlighted the importance of small donations and the support it gives to non-profit organisations. The company has tried and succeeded to make the community aware of the importance of equality in society, and hopes to have encouraged other companies and individuals to make donations. Whether in professional or private life, female empowerment plays a decisive role at all levels of society.
