Invitation to TURBOdesign Suite 2023R1 New Release Webinar

LONDON - March 17, 2023 - PRLog -- Advanced Design Technology (ADT) will unveil new features and enhancements to TURBOdesign Suite during the webinar.

ADT will review the major new features and enhancements in the 2023R1 release. ADT continue the enhancements in the integration of TURBOdesign Optima inside TURBOdesign1 and improvements in functionalities that aid designers in automating the turbomachinery design process.  TURBOdesign Pre (meanline design code) can now export the meridional geometry in a parametric form which, when brought into TURBOdesign1, can be used immediately for optimization of meridional geometry as well as the 3D blade geometry.

Optimization in TURBOdesign1 also supports all control point parameters for blade loading, spanwise work, thickness or stacking.  Automatic system to set up the correct range of design parameters for optimization by using machine learning algorithms is further extended to include splitter parameters. Further enhancements include automatic solver changes in response to convergence stability.

• Learn how the new automation functionality in TURBOdesign1 can help to speed up the design of turbomachinery to meet multi-objective requirements (e.g. cavitation and efficiency for pumps).
• Discover the new Volute functionality for double volute for pumps, Double entry volute for compressor and turbine and axial volute can be used in different applications
• Understand how the inducer functionality in TURBOdesign Pre, coupled with the new optimization system in TURBOdesign1, can help to streamline the design of hydrogen pumps or other rocket pump applications.
