According to EZDorms' Survey by Students from over 100 US colleges:

• 82% had said that their move-in experience was stressful and frustrating or overall OK but with lots of room for improvement
• 78% confirmed that they, with the help of their parents, had spent several days searching and ordering dorm essentials before their move-in day
• 68% confirmed that during move-in day they had visited multiple stores to buy missing items
• 69% confirmed that they were still ordering dorm essentials a week after they moved in
• 33% confirmed that they returned/exchanged several items either because it didn't fit their room or they did not like how it looked
