GET's Dain Schult Comments On the Continuing Slow Death of Traditional Radio

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - March 22, 2023 - PRLog -- Global Entertainment Technology, Inc., ("GET"), continues to track traditional AM/FM radio dying as are other old school forms of entertainment and news. Internet Radio with streaming audio are overtaking them.

GET Chairman, Dain L. Schult noted "Neilson ratings for radio recently showed that that terrestrial radio's total audience has overtaken television's for the first time in media history. Their 2022 Third Quarter report about total audience showed radio's average audience persons 18-49 is up three percent on TV. Unfortunately, that isn't saying much as both terrestrial radio and network television are getting eaten alive by streaming audio and video.

"We are continuing to develop music and talk formats that can capture the sound of live radio the way it used to be but reimagined with it all going digital with GET's Internet Radio stations and worldwide syndication efforts.  We are studying ways to create an AI-powered disc jockey programming staff that can play the music, provide local news, covert trending social media and even display personality during breaks in the music..

"So, we in the process of studying AI systems that can help our Internet Radio stations localize content to various markets which would allow for more local content but with AI disc jockeys. Having personally started in radio in high school as a disc jockey, this is still unsettling at times, but technology won't slow down.

"Spooky? Yeah, it is but the future is coming at us full force and we can either use it to our advantage or get run over by it. The generated content broadcast using AI "talent" but sounding human.
