During his time in the telephony sector, he managed to position the Telektra brand among the highest places, managing to stand out in the market as the leader of multi-line exchanges, transforming it into the main distributor of Harris switches, one of the most market relevant.

In the field of radio communication, he served as General Director of Radio Cel, which was the first Trunking operator, and had coverage throughout the Mexican territory.

Within the television sector, Sepúlveda participated in the beginning of operations in another of the flagship companies of businessman Ricardo Salinas
In said television company, he developed as Vice President of Sales, a position in which he achieved a remarkable market share, introducing one of the most innovative ways of charging for advertising space under the concept of Cost per Rating Point.
In turn, he headed the areas of: Human Resources, Artistic Talent and Entertainment, he was also the president of Azteca América and one of the members of the Council and the Executive Committee.

Guzmán Sepúlveda became the first CEO of Iusacell, just after it was acquired by Grupo Salinas.  During this stage, he obtained great achievements, among which stand out: debt restructuring and having raised Iusacell to the first place among cellular operators in offering 3G services.

He was also a pioneer in sending photographs through a cell phone, in addition to having connectivity to Internet networks from different devices, such as: laptops and telephones.

Similarly, Guzmán Sepúlveda, for many years, presided over the soccer sector of TV Azteca, participating in the presidency of different teams.
In addition, he served as the official representative of Grupo Salinas before the Mexican Soccer Federation (FEMEXFUT).
The businessman, in parallel to his new activities, will continue to develop as the advisor to the president of the company of the tycoon and businessman, Ricardo Salinas, and as a representative of Mazatlán FC before FEMEXFUT.
