Dr. Courtney A. Hammonds Hailed the "Dean of Fashion" is Awarded President's Volunteer Service AwardDr. Courtney A. Hammonds has been awarded the President's Volunteer Service Award 2023. The award was presented to him at a fashion event he was moderating. The award included a letter from President Joe Biden, a certificate, and a gold medallion.
Below is an excerpt from the letter from President Biden: "The American story depends not on any one of us not on some of us but on all of us. I congratulate you on taking it upon yourself to contribute to the public good and I'm proud to present you with the President's Gold Volunteer Service Award in recognition of your 1,675 hours of service to this great nation." The award was presented to Dr. Hammonds by An Officer and Gentlewoman, LLC, a certifying organization on behalf of the award. The owner of AOAGWLLC, Raquel Riley Thomas, submitted Dr. Hammonds for the award. Based on his number of service hours, he qualified for the Gold status award. "I could not be more honored to accept this recognition. I am very committed to the community and the community organizers throughout our community," states Dr. Hammonds. About Dr. Courtney A.
