Charity for Change receives a $10,000 grant from Trinity-by-the-Cove Episcopal Church

FORT MYERS, Fla. - April 4, 2023 - PRLog -- Charity for Change received a $10,000 grant from Trinity-by-the-Cove Episcopal Church to expand afterschool and summer school programming to an additional 600 students to improve the emotional well-being and academic performance for at-risk students, with a focus in Immokalee, East Naples, Golden Gate and Everglades City.

"By supporting the mental wellness and social wellbeing of young learners, research has proven that children improve academically and, in their ability to manage emotions and develop healthy relationships."

The scientifically proven elements of the Charity for Change program bring character education, STEAM, and service learning to life. The program uses research-based strategies for implementing behavior change, including role-play practice, modeling, direct instruction of social skills, and giving back to the community through volunteering, service learning, or giving.
