Empower Black Businesses in Texas and Tennessee: GoFundMe Campaign Launched

WASHINGTON - April 9, 2023 - PRLog -- We are excited to announce the launch of a new GoFundMe campaign aimed at empowering and uplifting Black-owned businesses in Texas and Tennessee. This campaign is in partnership with MinorityFinance.com, a leading online platform, launched in 1998, that provides minority entrepreneurs with resources and information to help their businesses succeed.

Recent events in Texas and Tennessee have brought attention to the systemic challenges faced by Black-owned businesses in these states. The decision by the Texas governor to seek a pardon for a man convicted of murder in a Black Lives Matter shooting has sparked tensions, while the expulsion of two Democratic members from the Tennessee state legislature for their protest against gun violence has raised concerns about representation in government. These incidents highlight the need for increased support for Black-owned businesses in these regions.

Our goal is to raise $500,000, which will be distributed to the Texas Association of African American Chambers of Commerce (TAAACC) and the Nashville Black Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) to directly support Black-owned businesses in these states. By providing financial resources and promoting their growth and success, we aim to create a more inclusive and equitable economy in Texas and Tennessee.
