Interview with Best Selling Author S.E.Wilson, "Mr Toad's Wonderful Gun"

WEST MIDLANDS, U.K. - April 11, 2023 - PRLog -- Our interview with Best-Selling Author S.E Wilson with his debut sequel to the classic The Wind in the Willows, "Mr. Toad's Wonderful Gun."

BT: How did you get the idea of writing the Sequel to The Wind in the Willows, Mr. Toad's Wonderful Gun?
SE: My Publisher asked to see if I could write a sequel.
BT: Without giving away too much, can you tell us how you got the idea to write a sequel about Grahame's beloved River Bankers?
SE: I read the original again. Several times, in fact. I finally convinced myself that I could write a sequel that may catch on. It is a wonderful story to start with and it is hard work attempting to improve on the original.
BT:  I understand that there's another Willows sequel you're coming out with, is that right?
SE: You bet. It will be out later on. I'm not sure when my publisher will release the next one, but it is a fantastic story, you can rely on that. The folks at Birch Tree and I put our heads together on this one. I'm not by myself in the venture. The whole crew are great help.
BT:  Where do you write and where do you get your creative skills from? Do you have a special room, coffee house, or a special space for your super writing?
SE: I write in a special room that I've filled with visual aids that push me along when I feel the story is in danger of falling apart. My skills come from my mother's father. He told tales that raised the hair atop my head when I was a youngster.
BT:  Where do you get your motivation from?
SE: Magic is the only answer.
BT:  Now the all-important question: What does the process of going from "no book" to "finished book" look like?
SE: It looks like three thousand words a day.
BT:  And finally, what inspired you to write the genre you do?
SE: I write whatever I feel like writing. Well, my publisher has a lot to do with that as well.
