First Annual AFM 47 Jazz Festival with FREE! Admission

BURBANK, Calif. - April 11, 2023 - PRLog -- We would like to invite you to our First Annual AFM 47 JAZZ Festival started on Sunday April 2, 2023 thru April 23, 2023 where there will some very Bands featured like on April 23, 2023 Music Director Bobby Chavez will performingl like  ' The Los Angeles Mambo All-Star Orchestra'! This is such a Special treat to have all these musicians come together so that public can bring their families and enjoy! A day of Jazz Music with FREE! Admission. This event will be held at Captain Greg Welch Gathering Place located at 3220 Wionna Avenue, Burbank, Ca 91504.

The line-up for Sunday April 23, 2023 is..

1pm The Dave Angel Jazz Ensemble
2pm The Los Angeles Mambo All-Star Orchestra
3pm John Leftwich Nonet
4pm The Dave Wheatley Band
5pm The Leslie Baker Quintet

One of the Music Director Bobby Chavez has a very interesting background he comes after 24 years Army Band Program where he has distinguish musical teaching concepts of bringing Latin Music awareness since 1976 to the Army Band Program. Due to his diligent efforts and perseverance he contribute to the creation of over 50 Latin Music ensembles entertaining military members, their families and the civilian population in the United States and in host foreign counties.

Musical Director Bobby Chavez has received some Professional Awards such as:
*Premios a La Musica "Best Latin Orchestra in Texas" organized and hosted by local Univision
*Network affiliate KWEX-TV San Antonio, Texas
*United Department of Defense overall ensemble champion-World Battle of the Bands, Republic of South Korea (Far East region)
*United Department of Defense overall ensemble champion-World Battle of the Bands, Honolulu, Hawaii
