Grand Opening Program set for new senior living community in York

YORK, Pa. - April 13, 2023 - PRLog -- The Residence at Fitz Farm official Grand Opening Program will pay homage to the storied history of an iconic family farm while also peering toward a promising future in filling the needs of seniors throughout the region.

The Grand Opening Program will be held on April 20 at the IntegraCare-operated senior living community located at 2200 Springwood Road in York Township.

Pennsylvania State Senator Kristin Phillips-Hill is among the dignitaries in the grand opening program.

The Residence at Fitz Farm has 130 apartments of Independent Living, Personal Care and Memory Care. The 16.5-acre site of the new building is situated on land once farmed by four generations of the Fitz family, known throughout the region for harvesting produce such as strawberries and their specialty, white celery. The Fitz Family will be represented by Don Fitz during the event.

The four-story, 124,000 square foot senior living facility was constructed through a joint venture of IntegraCare and Avenue Development.

"The new senior living community is a state-of-the-art facility with strong ties to the historic Fitz Family Farm that served our county for more than a century."

The senior living community features one- and two-bedroom units.
